As we approach our 40th year here at The Paint Box, I am continuing to change our collection of frames and artists' gifts. In a few weeks I will be adding a line of jewelry by artist Michal Golan. I have been selling his jeweled frames and I thought his jewelry, which he is very well known for, would be a nice addition. It is very different, colorful and fun. The pieces are not expensive so I think they will make wonderful holiday gifts!
The paraflex line of colorful acrylic frames has expanded and is doing very well you can see some more examples on my page. We also have a stunning line of frames designed by decorator extraordinaire, Jonathan Adler. They look like shiny leather and come in three fantastic colors.
I have just sold my first water gilded frame from Montreal. I will put the picture on the web site as soon as it is finished! We are also showing a new artist as of this week, Phyllis Roth. Here is an example of her work...

The Paint Box is a family run picture framing and art store business for 39 years. We pride ourselves in knowledgeable and friendly service.
Gale Harrison, owner and picture framer has been working in the business since high school. A college graduate with a degree in art history, she has also studied at art college in England and in the museums of Europe.
Arlene Corren, Gale's mother, started the business after 25 years as an art director and art editor for Parents Magazine and a Pratt graduate. She is now retired but her legacy lives on.
Our web site will allow you to see some examples of our work. The pictures will illustrate that the art of successful picture framing may be physically learned but the key to success is so much a matter of good taste with a constant striving for creativity and style.
